Baked Brie with honey and gourmet seeded crackers

Baked Brie with honey and gourmet seeded crackers

I had wanted to make some gourmet seeded crackers for so long - you know the ones that show the colours of the nuts and berries in the slices and are hard like a biscotti? (see the main pic) Well I finally made them and to be honest...they were not that great šŸ˜†

I mean, they were really tasty and worked a treat, but I found them super hard to cut thin, even using an electric knife, and really REALLY crunchy to eat! Not my favourite šŸ¤£

So instead of sharing the recipe for the gourmet crackers, check out this AMAZING baked brie! Drizzled with honey and all creamy and melted on the inside, it was the PERFECT grazing board accompaniment šŸ˜

BAKED BRIE WITH HONEY

INGREDIENTS:
1 x Brie wheel
Honey to drizzle
Walnuts to decorate, optional
METHOD:
Using a sharp knife, cut a criss cross pattern in the top of the Brie cheese. Not too deeply, just cutting through the rind on top.
Place the wheel of Brie in an oven proof dish and bake in oven at 180Ā° for 10-15Ā minutes.
The inside of the cheese should be soft and melted. Ā If it is not quite ready, pop it back in the oven for another 5 minutes.
Drizzle with honey and walnuts if preferred. Ā The heat from the cheese will make the honey runny and delicious!Ā
Serve immediately with crackers or baguette slices, on it's own or with a whole grazing board šŸ¤¤
If you would like to make some of the gourmet seeded crackers here's a recipe I found on Pinterest that is similar to the recipe I used Gourmet Seeded Crackers
Happy grazing!
